Worklight is a provider of Mobile application development tools and mobile delivery management solutions and is considered a HTML5 company. They are an Israeli-based company who specializes in providing tools to build HTML5 based mobile apps or Native apps or Hybrid apps. IBM, I guess want to expand their development offerings on the mobile side. I wonder if this would go into the Rational Brand or into the Customer Experience Suite (WebSphere Portal and UI). For sure, this would be a great add-on to the WebSphere Portlet Factory, which is now called the “Web Experience Factory”. Well, we have to wait and see. BTW, check out their demos and tutorials, very interesting offering.
